Jim was recommended to me by a mutual friend, and he ended up being the only Realtor I interviewed. From our very first meeting, he was beyond prepared and thorough. Even though I wasn’t yet sure if I was going to sell, he treated our meeting seriously. He impressed me with all of the quality information he’d gathered on my home, neighborhood and market in general. He was detailed in his research and patiently explained everything that went into his pricing and marketing strategy. I was very comfortable with him as well as his sales plan from the start.

Jim’s recommendations for getting my house on the market in a short time frame were both practical and manageable. He helped me focus on the things that were going to make the most difference, and saved me time and money by encouraging me to leave less important things alone. Due to his experience, winning marketing plan, beautiful photos and well-designed brochures, postcards and information sheets, we had about half a dozen appointments set up before the house was even listed, and more than 50 people come through the open house the first weekend. Our first offer came in after the open house, and a week later, we had three additional competing offers! We ended up selling significantly above asking price.

That was certainly a great outcome, but that’s not the end of the story: Jim’s fantastic service and knowledge continued throughout the entire process from listing to inspection to appraisal to closing. When things got complicated the week of closing and everyone–particularly our lawyer–was sure it was going to be postponed, Jim somehow rallied the troops to get everyone to work together to push it through as planned.

Jim is hands down the best Realtor I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with–and I’ve worked with quite a few. He was our rock when things weren’t so sure; he was a fabulous listener when we needed to vent. He never once hesitated to offer help or jump in and roll up his sleeves when something needed doing.

I cannot recommend Jim highly enough. He is not only a class act, an animal lover and a spectacular Realtor, but he is also a super human being. I’m sorry he is no longer my Realtor, but I’m thrilled to now call him “friend.”
